PREMIUM TREATMENT PLAN

Our premium plan consists of 13 - 16 applications to address all common problems in Hampton Roads and Northeastern NC, without additional charge. Please note that control of bermudagrass is NOT included as many of our customers have bermudagrass based lawns. It includes all of the steps outlined in our standard plan, plus:

•Disease Recovery. Brown patch disease infects most tall fescue lawns in the area in the spring and early summer. You can lessen disease by watering properly (most homeowners significantly over water. If you are unsure how much water to apply please contact us for recommendations), and avoiding large amounts of nitrogen in spring, but fungal disease will likely still be a problem. Our Disease Recovery program consists of 4 applications of fungicide and nutrients designed to help your lawn recover from brown patch and dollar spot diseases. These applications will occur every 3 - 4 weeks starting in spring. Please note that this program does not include other fungal diseases, such as pythium blight. Such diseases are uncommon in the region and require special fungicides to treat.

•Soil amendment. Heavy clay soils with little organic matter or microlife are very common in our region. Our soil amendment program consists of 2 applications of organic compost or gypsum (based on the results of your biennial soil test) to help correct any deficiencies in your soil.

•Nutsedge control, as needed. This program consists of 3 applications of herbicide to eliminate nutsedge and green kyllinga. This treatment is only applied if needed so be sure to notify us if you see nutsedge appear in your lawn.
